Sandy Milligan, CUSH, and Sister Joyce Quintana, RIC, in the Kenosha News and Rev. Willie Brisco, MICAH in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel were quoted last weekend in stories on President Obama’s Immigration Order.

MICAH leader Afriqah Imani offers hope and inspiration in a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story about her forgiveness of the man who fatally shot her son.

MOSES, JOSHUA, JONAH and MICAH all held powerful fundraisers in the past month

RUTH, JOSHUA and ESTHER sponsored a training workshop on November 15 to prepare leaders from around the WISDOM network to take the lead in an effort to pass legislation for Driver Certificates for the undocumented in Wisconsin.

MICAH had a 2-day leadership training event last weekend for several dozen African-American, Latino and Caucasian young people, ranging from teens to late 20s.  They call themselves “Generation Next” and came away with a real desire to build a powerful group of young people, dedicated to the issues that face central city youth.

On December 10 WISDOM leaders will again be at the State Capitol in Madison to release our 11x15 Blueprint to End Mass Incarceration.

WISDOM is doing important work that makes one optimistic about the future.  We’re grateful for the opportunities and for all those who share so generously of their time and talent to make this possible.

Won’t you be part of this important work by contributing on #Giving Tuesday, December 2?  Or you can do so now at www.prayforjusticeinwi.org
