Health Care Task Force
SOPHIA's Health Care Task Force is currently focused on informing SOPHIA members and the wider community about the need to expand BadgerCare, so all people in Wisconsin can receive affordable, high quality, accessible health coverage. We will also be acting to urge local school districts to use SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment). This is an efficient, evidence-based , and comprehensive tool to address selected behavioral health concerns among adolescents (e.g., alcohol/other drug involvement). Please join us -- all are welcome!
