United for Good
SOPHIA is a nonpartisan, faith-based coalition uniting diverse congregations, nonprofits, and individuals across Waukesha County to work for justice and the common good. Through relationship-building, education, and community organizing, we empower people to advocate for public policies that create equity and dignity for all. Our dedicated task forces focus on critical issues like affordable housing, criminal justice reform, and immigration. Together, we envision communities where every person has the opportunity to thrive and where voices from all walks of life join in powerful action to transform unjust systems.

Building a Beloved Community
WISDOM a statewide organization of more than 130 member congregations and 13 affiliates including SOPHIA. Our nearest WISDOM affiliate is MICAH in Milwaukee. Our other sister organizations are: MOSES in Madison, CUSH in Kenosha, RIC in Racine, ESTHER in the Fox Valley, JOSHUA in Green Bay, NAOMI in Wausau, JONAH in Eau Claire, JOB in Beloit, Menikanaehkem on the Menomoniee Reservation, and RUTH in Manitowoc.
